Junior IT Consultant - Part-Time
VMR Technologies is seeking an Independent IT Consultant to provide part-time technical consulting services on a project basis. The consultant will deliver defined work packages related to business analysis, systems support, and technology advisory — operating independently and managing their own schedule. Please Note: This is a part-time contract position. We are looking for candidates who are able to commit to 10-20 hours per week at a $30/hour contract rate. This role is available within Canada only and is BYOD 💻 - Bring Your Own Device (laptop).
Responsibilities
- •Deliver documented business and technical requirements for assigned project scopes
- •Provide advisory and troubleshooting services for defined IT systems as contracted
- •Produce analytical reports and data summaries per project deliverables
- •Recommend and document process improvements based on engagement scope
Qualifications
- •Background in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- •Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability
- •Working knowledge of databases, networking, and software systems
- •Ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
- •Self-directed with the ability to manage deliverables independently
